How to install
The Chrome Web Store listing is still in review. Until it goes live, the extension installs from the zip below.
- Download the zip and unpack it. You should end up with a folder that contains manifest.json.
- Open chrome://extensions in a new tab.
- Turn on Developer mode — the switch in the top right corner.
- Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you just unpacked.
Two things to know first
Loading an unpacked extension means Chrome asks you to confirm it, and it will not update itself — a new version means downloading and loading the folder again. A Chrome Web Store listing removes both problems, and is in review.
Questions
Do I need an account?
Yes — the extension signs in with the same account as the website, and your credits are shared between them.
Does it upload my files or pages?
No. Local tools run inside the extension and never send your files anywhere. AI actions such as translate send only the text you selected.
Nothing happens when I click the icon
Pin it first: open chrome://extensions, find AI Tools Hub and click the pin icon. Then open the side panel to reach the tools.
It cannot read a local file page
Open the extension details in chrome://extensions and turn on Allow access to file URLs.
