How it works

  1. 1.Import the table you want to share (Excel, CSV, TSV or JSON, or paste).
  2. 2.Choose what to do with each column: keep it as is, keep the first character of a name, keep the last four digits, bucket numbers into ranges, or replace values with a consistent pseudonym. Suggest by column type fills it in for you.
  3. 3.Press Mask the table: the same value always masks to the same result, so grouping still works, and every column reports how many cells changed.
  4. 4.Export the masked table as CSV or Excel — and remember that masking is not anonymisation.

Do I get free credits to try Data Masking?
Yes — new accounts get 3 free credits to spend on any tool, Data Masking included. After that you only pay for what you run.
How many credits does Data Masking cost?
Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded: free accounts pay 1 credit per run, and Pro or Pro+ members run it as often as they like.
Is the content I paste private?
Data Masking uses your input only to generate the result. Stored results are deleted automatically by our retention policy, and you can remove any run from your history.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Data Masking works in any modern browser — nothing to download or install.
