How the plan is calculated
Safety stock = Z times the square root of (lead time times sales variance plus daily sales squared times lead time variance), where Z comes from the service level you pick. Reorder point = daily sales times lead time plus safety stock. The order quantity covers the days of cover you asked for plus safety stock minus what you already have, then rounds up to the carton size and the supplier MOQ — nobody ships half a carton.
A planning estimate, not a promise: promotions, seasonality and marketplace limits all move the real number. Re-run it after a big sales change.

- Is the content I paste private?
- Restock Planner uses your input only to generate the result. Stored results are deleted automatically by our retention policy, and you can remove any run from your history.
- Do I need to install anything?
