Table to RDF Turtle Converter

Paste rows or drop a CSV or Excel file, pick RDF as the output format, and paste the triples into a .ttl file. Each row becomes one subject, and every other column becomes a statement about that subject.

The subject comes from the first column, so a row whose id is SO-1001 is written as row:SO-1001; a row with nothing usable there falls back to a generated name, so two rows never merge by accident. Values are plain literals: numbers stay numbers, text is quoted, and quotes and line breaks are escaped the way Turtle requires.

Table to Markdown

Turn a table into text you can paste: Markdown, HTML, TSV, SQL inserts, JSON, XML, YAML, LaTeX, INI, TOML, JSON Lines or an ASCII table. Nothing is uploaded.

Your data never leaves this browser

The file is parsed, previewed and charted on your own device. Nothing is uploaded — not even a sample. Close the tab and the data is gone.

Or paste table text

How it works

  1. 1.Import the table (Excel, CSV, TSV or JSON, or paste), then pick the output format: Markdown, HTML, SQL INSERT, JSON, XML, YAML, LaTeX, vCard, iCal, pandas and more.
  2. 2.For SQL, set the table name; for vCard and iCal, map which column holds which field — a field you leave empty is simply not written out.
  3. 3.Press Generate and check the result on the right.
  4. 4.Copy it or download it. Rows that cannot become a usable contact or event are skipped rather than written out half-empty.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the row: prefix come from?
The output opens with a placeholder namespace (example.com/row/). Replace it with your own vocabulary before you load the file — the tool does not know which ontology your data belongs to.
What happens when the first column repeats?
Two rows with the same first-column value become the same subject, which is what RDF means by identity: they describe one thing. If that is not what you want, make the first column unique before converting.
