GeoJSON Viewer & Simplifier
Paste or upload a GeoJSON file to validate it, preview it on a map, shrink it with Douglas-Peucker simplification, and export it as GeoJSON, KML or CSV.
Your data never leaves this browser
The file is parsed, previewed and charted on your own device. Nothing is uploaded — not even a sample. Close the tab and the data is gone.
GeoJSON
0 keeps every coordinate. Larger values drop points that sit within that distance of the line — handy before shipping a boundary file to the web.
How it works
- 1.Paste a GeoJSON document or pick a .geojson file — nothing is uploaded.
- 2.Set the simplification tolerance if you want a smaller file: 0 keeps every coordinate.
- 3.Press Check and preview: you get the feature and coordinate counts, the bounding box, the property keys and any structural problem with its location.
- 4.Download the simplified GeoJSON, or the coordinates as CSV.
